This is a High resolution version, only used in the introduction movie. It's based on concept sketches and the in-game model. This character also included a "glider", visible in the video. I did the model and textures. Then people at Blur had fun with it. Modeled in 3dsmax, textured with photoshop, nothing special. Rendered with the default scanlign, no skylight or radiosity.
The full movie is visible on the official game website (Video>intro movie, no direct link because the guy who designed the website though Flash was cool)
More renders, courtesy of Blur Studio. The eyes look different because the materials were redone to be rendered with Brazil:

It's been over a year since my last portfolio update. I'm not a student anymore, so I don't have as much time as I used to work on personal stuff like that. On top of that, I spend most of my day sitting at a desk in front of a screen, so when I'm out, I'm not really in the mood to do the same for a couple more hours. But, it's been a long time I wanted to try real sculpting, with clay, so here is my first try.
It's made of Super Sculpey. I know it's not a beginner clay, but I wanted to learn with some good shit. It's about 10 inches high. Took me about two weeks, working on it an hour every now and then, but I actually spent more time baking it than actual sculpting.
For sculpting I used my fingers and random stuff I could find around me, pen, guitar pick, credit card, brush, knife, cd...
The pictures are not really good, I'm definitly not a photographer, and my attempt and photoshoping them was not such a good idea. Sorry about that. PICTURES MIGHT SUCK, BUT IN A LIVING ROOM, IT'S BADASS
It's the first car I've ever made. It has been cartoonized, but I tried to keep it as accurate as possible. I used several photos as references, mostly from the 1974 version.
I also used promo pictures from Pixar, to nail the film's look.
That was funny, and maybe I'll make another one, and set both of them in an environment.
